Greg is a marketing professional, story teller, and community organizer who is active in Japantown and San Francisco’s startup community. Early in his career, Greg has held engineering, design, business management, operational and product development roles in the IT and Semiconductor industries.

There, one of his first assignments was to work on Japanese Social Media with the Academy Award Winning film - The Cove. Greg was on the PR team entrusted in promoting the film in Japan where there was a negative view of the film. Over the past five years, he has been working under the tutelage and guidance of Daron Ker, founder of Water Buffalo Pictures, on projects like the Claremont Children’s Film Festival, and pre-production on some of Daron’s recent film/video projects learning the art of filmmaking.

Recently, he has been collaborating with the NBC Bay Area’s Asian Pacific America with Robert Honda and working on stories for the Japanese business and Japantown community.
