We Travel… Part of telling stories is going to the source. Nichi Bei News sent us to capture the story of James Hatsuaki Wakasa - an issei (first generation Japanese) incarcerated at the Topaz Incarceration center at Delta, Utah. He met his untimely death while walking his dog one evening when a sentry, more than a 100ft shot him. We captured his 80th anniversary ceremony at the Topaz site.
