GANBATTE! – a grand showcase of Japanese Taiko, Afro-Cuban, Afro-Brazilian drumming, Filipino Kulintang, Reggae-Frevo, and Jazz ensembles featuring the department’s student performers and the dynamic curriculum of this San Francisco Unified School arts program, the only public school program in the nation offering hands-on percussive and musical instruction from ethnic cultures around the globe.
